Company Backround
Altmans Winnebago, the operating name of Dave Altman's RV Centers, Inc. opened its doors July 1, 1971. In over 37 years of business, it has grown to be a major influence in the retail motor home market on both a local and national scope. Last fiscal year, Altmans total revenue amounted to nearly $70 million. Altmans is a leader in motor home retailing being one of the largest retail dealers of Winnebago motor homes for the last seventeen years.
Dave Altman, the founder of Altmans Winnebago was a major figure in the Recreation Vehicle Industry. Past President and Board Chairman of the national dealer's association (RVDA), recipient of the prestigious James B. Summers Award, and the only California dealer to be inducted into the RV Hall of Fame, Mr. Altman is considered one of the pioneers in the motor home retailing business.
Altmans customer service facilities boast 20 state-of-the-art service bays between its two locations and maintains a staff of over 24 trained specialists to provide this valuable support. Altmans stocks nearly a quarter million dollars worth of parts and accessories. Altmans locations also include a daily rental fleet of motor homes. We offer our customers the chance to rent a motor home and try the lifestyle before making the big leap into RV ownership.

ALTMANS / COLTON
Located in the American RV Expo this location serves the Inland Empire and Desert areas of
Southern California. In Fall of 2005, Altmans opened a large scale expansion of the service
facility to include 10 state-of-the-art service bays and support facilities as well as
doubling our display space for our Sales department.
ALTMANS / CARSON
Re-opened in 1998 after a two year absence this prime location on the busy San Diego 405
Freeway in Carson is easily accessible from the South Bay, the city of Los Angeles, the San
Fernando valley, and Orange County. This is Altmans’ largest facility and hosts Altmans
"Customer First" support department. Spring 2002 saw the unveiling of Altmans Premier
Service Facility with a complete rebuilding of this established location.
